It is almost Spring Time!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Transitioning into spring can be a tough one. Its not hot enough to be in shorts and flip flops but its not cold enough to be in uggs and a jacket! The solution to this is the perfect spring jacket! Personally i will just end up going into my sisters closet and stealing a jacket since she has already ordered a few for spring! But here  are 4 options for you.A good Denim jacket always works. I find myself wearing it from now all the way up to fall!  Its perfect for Spring.  Here are two of my favorite Denim Jackets for Spring

The First Jacket is by Vince Denim Acid wash jean jacket. Its nice to have a alternative from the basic blue jean jacket. Your basic Blue jean jacket is great but if you already have that and want to mix it up i recommend getting this one! Im loving it for the spring. Another way to mix up the basic blue jean jacket is the cropped jean jacket. Right above you see jcrew cropped vintage denim jacket. 

Second option for a spring jacket is a leather jacket! I personally love my leather jackets year round but thats just me. In the spring collection I am  loving both of these! 

 

To the left is S.w.o.r.d Novara Leather Jacket in clay. Im loving this color for spring! Im the biggest fan of attaching a hood to anything and everything so obviously a leather jacket with a hood is right up my ally! To the right is one of my favorite brands for any type of leather jacket its Mike & Chris Maguire studded jacket!

Of course i save the best for last! BLAZERS! im loving any type of blazer right now. I find my self coming up with an outfit that includes a blazer all the time! its getting out of control!  Ill try and show you just two of my favorites even though i have so many!

Im kind of nightcap clothing obsessed right now! Its defiantly one of my favorite brands for spring!  so saying that i obviously had to put one piece from the spring collection on here! so the first on top is the Penny blazer in white by nightcap. I think the white blazer is very classy and clean I  am obviously sold on it! Everything right now is coming in the boyfriend style jeans, shirts vest and blazers! The Second jacket is J crews Long boyfriend blazer in black! There are two reasons i love this one is because its long enough to wear with leggings and i like any excuse to wear leggings. Two i like the looser look its more casual and it doesn't look like you are going to the office!

The Sweet tooth's guide to NYC

Growing up in a small town and moving to LA was already a big enough change for me. I recently just got back from the city that never sleeps New York. I was visiting my best friend who is interning at Vogue for the semester! The non-stop walking and the -7 wind blow anywhere else would of been awful, but there is something about New York that makes it amazing. My sweet tooth and i of course took over the city stopping on every block to try some sort of sugar! Starting and finishing with some of the best cupcakes ever. The first night, before i could even put my bags down we raced over to Crumbs ( yes we have crumbs in LA but its our tradition so it had to be our first stop) trying to make it there before it closed, don't worry we made it.

I got the good guy ( a better version of funfetti) and i also decided to try something new and get Butterfinger which was amazing i cant wait for an excuse to go back and get it again. The next day we went to Dylan's candy Bar which is pretty much my heaven. Any candy you could ever dream was there and more. Right after that we made our way over to Serendipity which is a must go to in NYC. After stuffing my face with chicken pot pie we split Frozen HOT chocolate, Yes Frozen Hot chocolate.

No matter what you do in the city, or what your reasons is for visiting this is a must try. If this still isn't enough sugar for you the next day we headed over to the famous MM store. But this was just a stop on the way to get more cupcakes. Cupcakes are my weakness and when your in new york your weakness is on every corner, but there is nothing like the famous Magnolia Bakery. The icing couldn't taste better i almost requested a cup of just icing! 

I swallowed one in the store before i could even pay, and grabbed another 4 to take back with me to LA to share with my sister. Her one request was to bring her back  Magnolia cupcakes no matter what it took. So the cupcakes and i returned back to our warm city.
